All about the glamour!

This week held host to the Glamour Awards 2012! It is one of the biggest events on the UK showbiz calendar and gives all the girls a chance to rock the red carpet!
Leading ladies from across the pond, come over to Mayfair, London for the ceremony.
Glees, Lea Michele looked gorgeous in this off-the-shoulder, dark blue, Zac Posen mermaid gown.
Her make-up was immaculate, glowing and her pinned up on her head, looked perfect!

Eva Longoria rocked the red carpet in a orange dress designed by gal pal Victoria Beckham!

I HAD to post a picture of the back of, Evas dress. I absolutely LOVE the zip that goes all the way down the length of the dress. The shape and fitting of the dress, does wonders for her gorgeous figure!!

Me and my boy, both shared a day off together yesterday and we spent some serious QT time together!

We ate loads of extremely bad-for-us foods and played on the PS3 (one of our favourite past times!)

Aaron has always told me I am one-of-a-kind. I can be a complete guy..drinking beer, watching football and playing on game consoles. But I am also a girly girl..I love make-up, fashion, tanning and SHOPPING!

Aaron loves me whichever way.

We've currently been together for 3 and a half years, It feels like forever but at the same time..It's gone so quick. We met through a mutual friend at a party and our life together..went from there. We have so many amazing memories together, ones that I'll never forget.

We've enjoyed travelling together (we have many more places yet to go) and countless date nights (we always find time, atleast once every 2 weeks, to go on a date..whether it be meal and the cinema or our favourite.ICE SKATING!)

Aaron makes me feel like I can succeed in anything. No matter how daft or dumb other people may think my dreams and wishes are, Aaron always encourages me to pursue them.

We've had our share of ups and downs, but we've both agreed that we're happier now in our relationship, than we ever have been.

Aaron may not be perfect, but for that..I love him even more!

He is my best friend, my rock, my lover and my soul mate. I wouldn't change this guy for the anything.

Aaron..Thankyou for being you, for accepting my mistakes and flaws and for loving me back. What more could a girl ask for?

"I love him and that, is the beginning and end of everything"....

Well last week was a big week for awards and fashion alike! England hosted the BAFTAS, whilst across the Chanel, Cannes held host to the Cannes Film Festival.

Kelly Brook rocked the BAFTAS, with this 'Black Swan' like outfit. I am a sucker for a top-knot and i'm LOVING this one! The dress is perfect for kellys figure. It flatters her gorgeous curves and in all the right places! May I just add..I'm completely jealous of those PINS! I know i'd definitely have my legs out more if they looked like that. GIRL CRUSH ALERT..But shh..Don't tell Aaron ;)
Over in Cannes, Kristen Stewart rocked her signiture look of, scowling face.
Not being funny, but if I got paid to kiss Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner for a living,  definitely wouldn't be scowling!
On the other hand, I LOVE THIS DRESS. A very daring neck plunge, which could have caused a mishap of two! The colour of the dress goes great with her pale, flawless complexion and dark haired up-do.
I'm a huge fan of Kristens films (TWILIGHT NO.1 FAN!!), but I think the girl could do with cracking a smile or two.

Monday Hop!

The 'monday blog hop' is hosted by Tami Marie, over at

Is my second name! My big sister has given me 2 gorgeous nieces and i’ll never be able to thank her enough. My oldest niece is Cady Brooke and my youngest is Aoife (you say it like eefa’ haha it’s Irish) Caelinn. Every time I see them, it makes me day that little bit brighter.
Cady is 4 going on 14, she has a sassy little attitude which makes me laugh like nothing else.
My favourite example of this was when, on her 4th birthday, she got a Disney princess pretend laptop. I said to her ‘ohh it’s like auntie Rachaels and Grandmas. She replied with..’NO, It’s like my mommas, but she broke it and I’m not buying her a new one. It’s TUFF’!
I was laughing my head off for a good half an hour at this. I’m sure she has been here before.
Aoife is another little character, she is only 1 and a half, and everything is..YES, HOT, COLD or TRUCK. She loves a challenge and is a dare-devil, She ran before she could even walk.
There is nothing better than having a sleepover with my girls. We snuggle up on the sofa before bedtime and eat a full tub of Ben & Jerry ice-cream...NOM!
I can’t even put into words how much I love these girls.
“An auntie can give hugs like a mother, keep secrets like a sister and share love like a friend”
I hope my nieces both know, that no matter what I will always be here for them, always be proud of them and always love them.

So today, I decided to clear my wardrobe of all my winter clothes. Pack them away and put all my summer clothes IN the wardrobe. HOORAY FOR SUMMER!
I am definitely a summer  baby, being born in June n’all, I despise the cold, windy and wet weather! Ew.
As I was sorting through all my clothes, I found this t-shirt!
Wayyyy back in 2010, I did a ‘midnight walk’ for a charity called Bolton Hospice. Bolton is the town that I am from, and I did the walk for a hospice that is located here. For people who may not know what a hospice is, it is a place people can go and stay when they only have months, weeks or days left, in this lifetime. It helps them relax and enjoy what time they do have left. I couldn’t think of a better charity to help raise money for!
The walk starts at, you guessed it..MIDNIGHT! It started as the clocks struck 00:00a.m the 12th June. My 18th birthday! The local radio station was at the meeting point for the walk and my mum (who I did the walk with) must have told them it was my birthday, because they announced it live to everyone doing the walk! Happy to say..I got a huge round of applause! What better way to celebrate the start of your 18th birthday!
The walk starts in the centre of town, you then walk to the other side of Bolton (which is about 4.6 miles away) and then walk all the way back! Needless to say, me and my momma were knackered!!
Before the walk, Bolton hospice supplied all the volunteers with Bolton hospice t-shirts, to do the walk in. On the front on the t-shirt, you pinned your number (I was number 1000. Nice even number there!!) and on the back you could pin a dedication. Me and momma dedicated the walk to my Uncle Jeffery. Who sadly passed away from cancer the month before I was born. Although I never met him, I know how much he meant to my mum and what a brilliant man he was!
The whole walk took us about 3 and a half hours, which seems like a awfully long time when you’re walking in the dark. At midnight!
This charity does wonderful things for the people who need it most and I am proud to say I have raised money to help them continue to be great!
Have you ever done a walk or a run to raise money? Or anything else fabulous to help out a charity?
I would love to hear your stories!

Make-up Haul!

Good Morning!

Red- Accesorize.
Lately, when I've been looking into my make-up bag..I feel like something is missing. Something I don't have, that I really should.

I spent most of the morning racking my brain, trying to think what this missing object could be. Then it hit me...

I did not own a single lipstick. Lipgloss, yes. Lipstick, no. Until about half an hour ago, when I popped into town and bought 2!
Pink- No.17
My nearest accesorize store is having a 70% off sale (It's staying this way forever, yay!!) and when I got to the checkout with my holiday purchases..I won't bore you with them now...I noticed a stand with lots of lipsticks. So obviously I had a look and found a GORGEOUS red lipstick. Every girl needs a red lipstick in her make-up bag.

I must have caught the 'Lipstick' bug, because straight after I had finished in accesorize, I rushed over to boots!

I found a lovely shimmery pale pink lipstick, which will just be PERFECT for my holiday, to wear during the evenings!

As you might be able to see in the picture on the left, the pink lipstick leaves a very nice shimmer on your lips.

The red, which may not be very clear in this picture, is very bright. Which I think will look great with a LBD on a night out with my girlies.

If any of you lovely ladies, have a favourite shade of lipstick, please let me know and I might just give it a try!!

I LOVE to travel and in November 2011, myself and Aaron travelled to gorgeous city of Rome, Italy. We have both wanted to visit Rome and talked about it for a while before we booked the trip. During a spontaneous day out for lunch, we decided to go to the local travel agents and book it! I love spontaneous plans, they always work out amazingly!

I was like a little kid on Christmas morning, on the day of our flight. Going to Rome was literally a dream come true!

After the 2 hour flight and the hour and a half on a train, we FINALLY arrived in ROMA. When I first laid my eyes on the Trevi fountain, I was speechless. I’ve seen it so many times in photographs and films, but seeing it right in front of you and with your own eyes, it’s even more amazing!

We enjoyed romantic candle-lit meals, in backstreet cobbled streets, (Italy officially do the best pizza and pasta EVER). Open-top tour bus, seeing the whole of Rome, as there is no way we would have been able to see it all on foot. As long as we fit the most important sights in before we left, that’s all that mattered.

We visited:

-          Trevi Fountain (our hotel was right next to it, hearing the trickling water every night whilst enjoying a meal or drink, was amazing!).
-          Spanish Steps (Spanish steps, in Italy!).
-          Pantheon.
-          Vatican City.

When in Rome, you MUST have a gelato (Italian for ice-cream; that is the one word that I made sure I knew before I went over! I am a sucker for ice-cream). I am honestly, not surprised that Italy is famous for the best ice cream. It honestly IS. They do not lie!!

If anyone gets the opportunity to go to Rome, please do! It is the most amazing and beautiful place.

Breath-taking Trevi Fountain

Throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain, and it is said that you will return in the future! Think I threw about 10 in!

Pantheon ceiling!

Worlds BEST ice-cream.

Vatican City! We didn't get to meet the Pope, unfortunately! Haa

Feast on the plane! Pepsi and a good ol' peperami!

Spanish Steps were always busy! Every would congregate here.

The Colosseum!

I think everyone should be lucky enough to travel to somewhere as beautiful as this!

You are my sunshine!

The weather is gorgeous! Hooray. I really think this may be the start of summer, which means all my summery clothes are coming out..vest tops, shorts, playsuits and maxi dresses! I really do hate my 'winter' wardrobe. I miss the bright colours of summer!

Whenever it is sunny/warmer outside, I always find it easier to wake up. I jump out of bed, throw open the curtains and look forward to the day ahead. Today I decided to take my jack russel, jake, for a nice long walk through the local park.

Sunshine on my street

Gorgeous weather

Rocking the vest top!

I hope you've all had a good day and the sun has shined!

I am a serious One Tree Hill Fanatic! I've watched every season, every episode and own all the box sets.

I have just watched the season 9 finale and my god! I cried, smiled, laughed out loud and cringed.  I think it’s amazing how one program can change your life. I started watching this program when I was YOUNG, not when the show first ever started, but when I stumbled across a random episode..I thought I would give it a whirl and I am so glad I did!!

“You ever heard the expression “the best things in live are free”? Well, that expression is true. Every once in a while, people step up they rise above themselves…sometimes they surprise you and sometimes they fall short. Life is funny sometimes. It can push pretty hard but if you look close enough, you can find hope in the words of children, in the bars of the song and in the eyes of someone you love. And if you're lucky, if you're the luckiest person on this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back”

I love how the quotes on this show are..real, heart-felt and relatable. The problems, dreams, wishes and memories, there is always at least one that everybody can relate to. Whether it be the memories of high school, the problems with friendships gone wrong or relationships turned bitter. The show helped me to realise, even more so than I already knew, that it’s okay to be yourself and have the wildest dreams imaginable. If you want them to happen, try your hardest to make them.

‘You fall down seven times, you stand up 8.'

Howdy YA'LL!

Wow, it has been a while. I do have my reasons!

Firstly..My wireless rooter decided to break down on me and refuse to work. HOW INCONSIDERATE?!

My lovely momma spent hours on the phone, abusing the internet company who refused to replace the broken rooter, even though we are in a contract with them..GRRR.

Eventually..the internet company decided to send us a new rooter for free and it arrived in the post today! I have never been so happy to see my postman. I've been having withdrawel symptoms from my lovely blog, but looking back, I decided I needed a change. I wasn't completely happy with my last blog and decided a new blog was the way to go.

I hope you will all be patient whilst I get the blog exactly how I want it. Bigger and Better than the last.
