Budget Base | Under £10.

I am a complete budget friendly girl when it comes to makeup. There are so many amazing drugstore products that are a complete dupe for high end ones. If not better! There are so many great products in the drugstore now which are a fraction of the price!

Here are a roundup of my favourite makeup items, that I love, that are kinder on the purse strings.

Primer//Link. £7.99:
I don't have one brand of primer that I stick religiously too, but I did pick up the Maybelline Baby Skin Primer after hearing all the hype surrounding it. It helps create a really smooth base and although I don't have huge pores, it helped minimize the small ones I do have around my nose. I really like the gel formula, it makes it so much easier to blend, and doesn't leave the skin feeling tacky or oily.

Foundation//Link. £6.99
Drugstore foundations are my absolute favourite. Rimmel Match Perfection is the foundation I have been using everyday all through Winter and I love it. In the Summer I really like to use dewy foundations which give the skin a lovely glow, however in Winter it's all about the matte finish. It's matte, without being cakey, which I have found with other foundations i've used.

Concealer//Link. £5.49
Concealer is a MUST in my makeup routine! I don't suffer so badly from dark circles under my eyes, but blemishes are another story. My skin is playing havoc, especially at the moment, so concealer is an essential. I've really been enjoying the Seventeen Phwoar Paint, it's quite a thick, creamy consistency. It is essentially made for under eye circles, but I find it works great on covering up blemishes.

Powder//Link. £3.99
This is by far the best budget powder i've ever used! I get quite an oily chin, and this completely banishes it. The packaging isn't the greatest, the lid is flimsy and falls off all the time, but for less than £4.00, what do people want?!

Blush//Link. £7.00
I'm a little bit of a slut when it comes to blushes. I don't stick to a certain formulation or brand, but I absolutely LOVE the cream blushes from Topshop. They're cheap but so pigmented. I just use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to dab a small amount right onto the apple of my cheeks, and then blend outwards.

Highlight//Link. £4.99
I bought this highlighter at the beginning of last year and never really bothered with it, until this Winter! I found it hidden amongst my makeup stash and decided to give it a go, and I wasn't disappointed. It also creates a lovely bronze glow, along with the highlight. It isn't too pigmented that it looks fake, just enough to give you a natural looking glow.
